A couple of Sundays ago on October 3, 2010, I took part in the 2nd annual “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk” that took place at Woodward Park. The route was 3.1 miles along the Eaton Trail. The walk began at 8:00am after the ribbon cutting. They had several tents set up, and among them were the Youth Against Breast Cancer, where volunteers provided fun and educational activities for the children, and the Making Strides product tent. And I will not forget the Elvis Presley impersonator singing “Viva Las Vegas” and “Teddy Bear.”
